Wow Mom! ... You are so much more expressive when writing a blog than you are speaking over the phone ... Great writeup! ... Some very original stuff about the Kaju and Kishmish ...
And I enjoyed all the comments posted here as well ... Both the kinds laced with concern and the ones commending this act ...
I wonder how this blog would have turned out if I had told you about this and you had written this blog before I went skydiving! ... Thanks for being such a Greap mom!
Yeah, the "Daavat" did end up looking like "Paavat"! ... We had loads of fun that day ... Many more events coming up this weekend, so I should be posting more stuff soon ...
Glad you liked it pakhi ... Yeah, the 600 case thing does sound a bit intimidating, but trust me, that's only for the first couple of weeks ... Once you get used to it, you actually look forward to discussing them in class ...
Hmmm ... I'm not sure what you mean by a T-School ... But yeah B-School is tough ... but it is this toughness, which makes the students tough as well ...
Yes I agree ... US lost all rights to take the moral high ground after they killed in 1 week over 300,000 civillians in, what is in my opinion, the single largest act of terrorism in the history of mankind - the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ... Not only that, by doing this they proved to the world that they were ready to use this new deadly weapon, and this resulted in a long and costly Nuclear Arms race over the last 60 years ...
And you're right about US conveniently ignoring other stronger rogue nations ... Whatever hapenned to US's promised action against the other two axis of evil states - Iran and N Korea? ... And what about loss of civil rights in the various Banana republics in South America and Africa? ... Why doesn't US step in there, when hundreds of thousands are getting killed in civil unrest? ...
On an aside, I wish your blog post was slightly more meaty! ... I realize you wanted to invite users' opinions and views, but a little more connection of the various points you mentioned would have given a better context and perspective to viewers when they're coming here to comment ...
The topic of this post refers to President Bush, but the 3 points you mentioned at the beginning had nothing to do with him! ... Surely you don't want to punish Bush fo the mistakes of his predecessors! ...
Having said that, let me see if I can list down some reasons for Bush to be impeached ...
Election fraud in 2000
Misleading the world about Iraqi threat
Violation of International law (Invading a sovereign nation)
Thanks for the comments Red Strawberry, RJoshi, NN and Ekta ...
I'm not sure whether the media is enabling us to get more sensitive about these issues by showing us vivid images of tragedy in the real world ... Or if the constant bombardment of visuals is just dehumanizing such disasters ... In this age of technical possibilities, Media responisibility has a bigger role to play than ever before ...
